Arabizi.io (https://arabizi.io) is a free Arabic keyboard and transliteration tool. This page explains what data we collect and how third-party services we use handle data.
1. The text you type
The keyboard, the Latin-to-Arabic transliteration engine, and the tashkeel diacritics tool all run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any text you type. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Send, Translate, or Search buttons described below.
2. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Arabizi.io is free to use and is supported by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Arabizi.io and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

3. Send, Translate, and Search buttons
These buttons pass your typed text as a URL parameter to a third-party site you choose — WhatsApp, X, Telegram, or Google Translate, for example. This only happens when you click one of these buttons.
Once you leave Arabizi.io this way, that third party's own privacy policy applies.
4. Local storage
Arabizi.io uses your browser's localStorage to remember preferences such as dark/light mode. This stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and can be cleared by clearing your browser's site data.
5. GDPR & CCPA
Because we do not collect or store personal data or typed text, there is no personal data to access, export, or delete on our side.
